Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will take flight on March 13, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Capcom promises the next major step for the Stories spin-off, with a completely fresh narrative and deeper RPG as well as Monstie systems. But that’s not all, as Xbox Riders are getting a double helping of monster-collecting fun ahead of its biggest entry yet.
To help newcomers catch up, Capcom is bringing the first two entries to Xbox for the very first time. The original Monster Hunter Stories and its direct sequel, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, will both arrive on Xbox One and Series X on November 14, 2025. These enhanced ports will give fans nearly four months to experience the entire world of Monster Riding before Twisted Reflection arrives.
The first Monster Hunter Stories follows a young Rider from the peaceful village of Hakum. The Rider sets out with Navirou, a mischievous Felyne, after a deadly Black Blight infects the land and corrupts creatures into raging threats. In Wings of Ruin, you play as the grandchild of a legendary Red Rider. Set generations later after the first game, Rathalos across the world are suddenly disappearing. Just then, the Rider encounters Ena, a Wyverian girl carrying the egg of the fabled ‘Razewing Rathalos,’ a monster prophesied to bring destruction.
