Summer breaks might be ending for some people in real-life, but that is not the case in the video game department. Several games are kicking off their summer events, and Monster Hunter Now is one of them. The Summer of Hunters 2026 has started, bringing a lot of rewards for players, including a brand-new weapon, but also introducing 24-hour hunts for Hunt-a-thons & Elder Dragon Interceptions, which are great, especially for those hunters who usually have limited time to attend these events.
All Events Coming to Summer of Hunters 2026 in Monster Hunter Now
The Summer of Hunters 2026 event for Monster Hunter Now will officially begin on August 24 and conclude its first part on August 31. Then, the second part will begin shortly after on the 31st and run until September 6.
The first thing you’ll be able to get — or rather — forge during the event, is the new Tropical Cannon (Gunlance). You will need to obtain tickets to do so, which you’ll be able to obtain just by participating in the event’s quest. Like other weapons, you’ll be able to upgrade it, and Niantic has already put up a list of what you’ll need for each upgrade.
Hunting Will Be More Accessible Than Ever
Another big addition to Summer of Hunters 2026 is the expanded access range, which will increase by 50%. This will be great for those looking to do some Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions. Speaking of, these two events will now last for 24 hours, allowing players to jump into them at any moment.
