Are you getting stuck on the loading screen, or maybe seeing strange connection error messages every time you try to log in? Don’t worry, fellow mobile Hunters, we’ve got your back! Whether it’s during a big event or just a random afternoon, server issues can always strike without warning. This guide will show you how to check if the Monster Hunter Now servers are down. As well as what you should do if the problem comes from your end.
Are Monster Hunter Now Servers Down?
Update (13 June 2025): Monster Hunter Now servers are currently up and running.
Sometimes, the deadliest monster isn’t a Tempered Mizutsune — it’s connection problems. If you suddenly can’t log in or you’re getting error messages mid-hunt, the servers might be having issues. While server outages are rare, they can happen during maintenance windows, major content update, or unexpected third-party services problems.
It’s also possible that the problem is on your end. Try restarting your app, switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or even restarting your device. You can also contact Niantic Support through the in-app menu to troubleshoot device-specific problems. It’s accessible via the Hunter menu > Support > Contact Support option.
How to Check Server Status
Unfortunately, the game doesn’t offer a dedicated menu or site to — server status. Still, there are a few quick ways to confirm if Monster Hunter Now servers are online or down:
- Check Niantic Support’s X page: @NianticHelp.
- Despite Niantic has sold Monster Hunter Now to Scopely, the @NianticHelp X account is still active and routinely report any server problems for the game.
- Follow the official Monster Hunter Now X account: @MH_Now_EN.
- Check Monster Hunter Now Community Forum if there are reports about server issues.
- Visit DownDetector or Monster Hunter Now Subreddit to see if other players are reporting issues in real-time.
