Monster Hunter Outlanders has plenty of activities to keep Hunters busy. However, some activities offer limited rewards that reset daily, making them worth prioritizing whenever you log in. If you want to make the most of your playtime, here are the best things to do daily in Monster Hunter Outlanders.
Complete Your Daily Adventure Requests

Adventure Requests are the bread and butter of daily and weekly activities in Monster Hunter Outlanders. They offer various objectives that reward you for simply playing the game and completing your usual activities.
Rewards include Zenny, Aqua Dew, Primeberry, Rutacoins, Universal Insight Tickets, and of course, XP. Since many objectives overlap with activities you’ll already be doing, they’re a convenient way to earn extra resources without going out of your way. Keep in mind that Adventure Requests only unlock once you reach Adventurer Rank 16.
Complete and Claim the Daily Adventurer’s Chronicles
Adventurer’s Chronicles should be among the first things you check after logging in. Accessible through the party popper icon, this menu features various challenges, milestones, and objectives that unlock as you progress. There are three main sections worth checking:
- 7-Day Login Bonus: Claim rewards by logging in on consecutive eligible days.
- Hero’s Journey: Complete progression objectives to earn additional rewards as you advance through the game.
- Field Notes: Take on various challenges and objectives to collect for more items.
Some rewards are tied to daily unlocked objectives, so remember to check each section and manually claim anything you’ve completed.
Always Spend Your Free 120 Energy for Upgrades

Energy is an important resource you’ll want to manage carefully. It’s used for farming various upgrade materials in the Daily Hunts, accessible through the Gameplay Handbook menu:
- Zenny.
- Keepsake Upgrade and Ascension materials.
- Buddy Upgrade and Ascension materials.
- Visage Upgrade and Resketch materials.
If you’re short on time, you don’t have to complete every hunt manually. Once you’ve cleared a quest, you can simply press the Quick Hunt button to instantly spend the selected amount of Energy and claim the rewards.
During the beta, Energy was replenished through daily resets. However, in the release version, you regenerate 1 Energy every 12 minutes, or 120 Energy per day. Make sure to spend your Energy regularly to avoid hitting the cap and wasting potential regeneration.
Check the Event Center for Daily Rewards
The Event Center is another menu worth visiting every day, especially when limited-time events are running. Two important sections to check are Co-op Squad and Free SSR Adventurer. Both feature progression-based rewards that encourage you to participate in daily activities. Depending on the event, you can earn Rutacoins, Stickers, Gestures, Contracts, and even a free Adventurer.
There are also seasonal challenges that let you try out featured Adventurers for free. Completing Stage Challenges earns you Companion Coins, which can then be exchanged for more rewards in the Exchange Shop.
Check the Exchange Shop for Free Zenny
This is probably one of the easiest daily rewards to overlook in Monster Hunter Outlanders. Open the Shop menu and navigate to Item Exchange to claim your free daily Zenny. It might not be much, but every little bit helps when you’re constantly spending money on equipment and character upgrades.
Run and Share Ecological Intel With Your Friends

Having plenty of friends in Monster Hunter Outlanders isn’t just for show. You can help each other by sharing Ecological Intel, which allows a monster to immediately appear on the recipient’s map. This makes Ecological Intel especially useful when you’re farming specific monsters’ materials.
You can claim one Intel from each friend daily, up to a maximum of five friends. Claiming a friend’s Intel also rewards you with 10 Assist Points, while Intel targets can be changed every 12 hours.
Participate in Guild Activities
If you’ve joined a Guild, don’t forget to participate in Guild Clash and Carnivals whenever they’re available. Aside from helping your Guild climb the leaderboards, these activities provide valuable rewards, including Pure Brushes and Primal Engraved Gems. You can also earn Guild Emblems, which can be spent in the Guild Shop for various items and even exclusive Adventurers.
Don’t Forget Weekly Activities
While daily tasks should be your priority, there are also weeklies in Monster Hunter Outlanders for even more rewards. Those include Weekly Requests, Arena Quests, and other seasonal activities. Most offer Rutacoins, but there are also valuable progression materials. You don’t necessarily need to complete these every day, but checking your weekly progress regularly can help prevent a last-minute rush before the reset.
Ultimately, the best daily routine in Monster Hunter Outlanders is to spend your Energy, complete Requests, claim your login and event rewards, and check in with your friends and Guild. Once those are out of the way, you’re free to focus on exploring, farming, and upgrading your favorite Adventurers.
