Monster Hunter Wilds will be getting its first major free Title Update in April and Capcom has announced the showcase’s schedule to reveal all the details. The Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase is set to air on Tuesday, March 25, at 7:00 AM PDT, featuring series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto as the host. This special stream will provide the first look at the upcoming Title Update 1 content, complete with a brand-new trailer and surprises. Here’s everything we know so far about what’s coming to Wilds in April 2025.
What You Should Expect from Monster Hunter Wilds March 25 Showcase Stream

The biggest confirmed addition in the first free Title Update is the return of Mizutsune, the fan-favorite graceful, bubbly Leviathan. But that’s not all in terms of invading monsters. Capcom has also teased a challenge that’s ‘tougher than Tempered monsters‘ that will debut alongside Mizutsune. While details remain scarce, these new foes could potentially introduce a new difficulty tier in High Rank before we even get to Master Rank.
Another major addition coming in the update is the Gathering Hub. It’s fair to say that Monster Hunter Wilds already features a deep multiplayer experience, letting Hunters meet in 100-player lobbies. However, the series’ staple Gathering Hub, where players could interact, prepare for hunts, and engage in arm wrestling matches, is sadly missing. Thankfully, Capcom heard your pleas and planning to add the social hub in a Title Update. There’s a huge chance we’ll be seeing a teaser for this new Hub in a couple of days.
Alongside new monsters and social features, Title Update 1 will bring various gameplay improvements, balance adjustments, and bug fixes. Monster Hunter Wilds director Yuya Tokuda has acknowledged player feedback and said the team is working on additional refinements based on community input. Here’s hoping that a performance fix, especially on PC, will be dropped along with the Title Update!
While exact patch notes won’t be revealed until closer to release, the update aims to enhance combat balance, weapon tuning, and overall game performance. Expect more details to be shared during the March 25 showcase.
Of course, the first Title Update is just the beginning of Monster Hunter Wilds’ post-launch roadmap. A second free Title Update is already planned for Summer 2025, with even more content, monsters, and features on the way.
For now, Hunters should prepare for the March 25 Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase to get their first glimpse at upcoming challenges. Don’t forget that the stream will be broadcast at 7:00 AM PDT, run for 15 minutes, and available on these official channels:
