Commission Ticket is a rare and valuable material in Monster Hunter Wilds that you’ll want to stock up on for special gear. While obtaining one can be a matter of luck and patience, luckily, there’s a reliable way to farm them. But here’s the trick: it takes some timing and save-scumming to get the most out of it. This guide will tell you all you need to know about procuring Commision Tickets.

You can purchase Commission Tickets from the Support Ship at the Windward Plains Base Camp. Santiago the Support Ship Captain will dock every three in-game days, after which it will then departs again. The game will notify you with the “The Support Ship has arrived” message when he showed up.

However, Santiago’s goods are always randomized. To make sure he has a higher chance of stocking up on Commission Ticket, select the ‘Misc. Items’ option in the ‘Request Goods’ menu. The Ticket counts as special items and selecting the option will boost the chance of seeing it in the shop.

Some players reported that buying all weapons on his inventory could also increase the chance of the Ticket appearing. Nevertheless, we haven’t seen any official confirmation or consistent results, so take this tip with a grain of salt.

Now, if you need Commission Ticket fast, there is a way to farm it in Monster Hunter Wilds:

  1. When the Support Ship appears in Windward Plains, check Santiago’s inventory.
  2. If there’s no Commission Ticket, make sure you’ve selected the ‘Misc. Items’ option.
  3. Rest until one day before the Support Ship arrives.
    • For example, if the Support Ship just departed, then spend two days by Resting twice.
  4. Save your game.
  5. Rest once more or until the Support Ship arrives.
  6. Check the inventory again.
  7. If a Commission Ticket is still not in stock, quit to title screen without saving.
  8. Reload your game and repeat from Step 5.
