Farming Armor Spheres Just Got Easier Thanks to MH Wilds New Event Quest

Upgrading your armor is key to surviving the toughest hunts such as Tempered Arkveld and Gore Magala. But even with the option to meld Armor Spheres, farming them in Monster Hunter Wilds can take a while. Luckily, Capcom has dropped a new Event Quest this week that will surely help players gather Armor Spheres much faster. If you’re still holding on to those precious metals, now’s the perfect time to strengthen that Jin Dahaad gear.

  • Locales: Windward Plains.
  • Conditions: HR 21 or higher.
  • Completion: Hunt the Tempered Chatacabra.
  • Date and Time: From 03-11-2025 at 17:00 until 03-18-2025 at 16:59.

The latest Event Quest, ‘Tongue-Tied,’ gives Monster Hunter Wilds players the chance to earn plenty of Hard Armor Spheres and Advanced Armor Spheres. This is essential for upgrading Rarity 6 and up armor pieces and raising their defenses even further. Nevertheless, keep in mind that it’s only available for Hunters with HR 21 or higher. You might need to progress further into the main to be able to participate in the quest.

The objective itself is really simple. All you have to do is hunt a Tempered Chatacabra in Windward Plains. Whether you slay or capture it, completing this quest will reward you with the upgrade materials needed to reinforce your armor. No doubt this is an efficient and fun way to stock up on high-level Armor Spheres.

Don’t forget that the quest runs from March 11, 2025, at 17:00 to March 18, 2025, at 16:59 local time. Hunters will have one week to take advantage of the Event Quest rewards.

At the time of writing, Monster Hunter Wilds is running two special Event Quests; both ends on March 18, 2025:

  • Tongue-Tied: Rewards Hard Armor Spheres and Advanced Armor Spheres.
  • Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo: Rewards special Mimiphyta Ticket materials to craft the Mimiphyta Alpha headgear.
